Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CS2 Team Finder (the "Service"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to consent to data processing in your country. You access the Service by authenticating with your Steam account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Steam credentials secure.

2. Email & communications

To use the Service you must provide a valid email address and verify it. We use it to send you service communications (such as team invites, join requests, messages, and account notices) that are necessary to provide the Service. Marketing communications are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or abusive content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Spam, scam, or send unsolicited promotions to other users.
• Attempt to disrupt, exploit, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

4. User content & moderation

You are responsible for the content you post (profiles, messages, chat, team details). You retain ownership of your content, and you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Service. We use automated and manual moderation and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

5. Teams

Teams, rosters, invitations, and join requests are managed by users. We are not responsible for the conduct of teams or players, or for disputes between users. Team owners control membership decisions, including accepting or rejecting join requests.

6. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties including Steam and FACEIT. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of data they provide.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that you will find a team or teammates.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country/region], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
